Surroundings

 

Our house is located on the periphery of Freiberg, inside the Freiberg municipal forest. Nevertheless the centre of the town is not far away, by bike you need between 10 and 15 minutes. To reach a grocery, restaurant(s) and a cinema it takes you only 10 minutes on foot. Because of its position the apartment is a good starting point for walking- or bycicle-tours and in the winter sometimes also for skiing. As destination of the tours you can choose between the restaurant Waldcafé, the open air bath at the lake Soldatenteich or the restaurants/mills in the valley of the river Striegis.
